New Book! The March of the Ants
A new picture book, written by Ursula Dubosarsky (Australian Children’s Laureate 2020/2021) and illustrated by Tohby Riddle (Australia’s nominee for the 2022 Hans Christian Andersen Medal for illustration), has just been released this March.
The March of the Ants began life as a read-aloud and acted-out performance at the announcement in Canberra of Ursula as the Australian Children’s Laureate for 2020/21. It is published by dynamic new Australian publisher Book Trail Press, who spotted the story’s potential as a picture book and quickly bought the rights.
